| Pamela Anderson for Crazy Domains |
The crazy folks over at crazy domains seem to have picked up on the fact that Pamela Anderson is such a great marketable tool. In fact I've often got side tracked on my own site and, almost in a daze, felt compelled to purchase a domain name even though I don't need one. But I think that speaks more to my level of geeky-ness than anything else.
An ad aired on Australian T.V just the other day, and was simply a blur of images, with the explanation that it was too raunchy for prime time and and invite to go online to see the real deal. Now for the sake of my readers it was only right that I spent some time doing my research, and after many hours of detailed google searches for Pamela Anderson (I need to do my thorough research guys no half ass editorials here) I *finally* found the ad that was too crazy for our Australian eyes.
The video can be seen on the crazy domains website (along with screensavers, wallpapers etc) and I've embedded the youtube video that's received about 1 million hits so far.
Personally I think the whole marketing plan they've cooked up at crazy domains is pretty cheesy, but that's not to say it won't work for them. They know we love cheap domains, they already figured out sex sells and they're simply giving their brand lots of exposure. When you check out what the competition is doing, you kind of understand what it's like, after all how else are you going to sell a domain name?
Disclaimer: I'm not actually a marketing guru by trade so if you have a better way to market a domain please leave a comment, I'd love to hear what you think!

Works for me :D
