TwitHawk: Real-Time Keyword & Location Based Marketing On Twitter

Disclaimer:
I <3 TwitHawk, I'm also addicted to it.

TwitHawk is a real time targeted marketing engine that will find people who are talking about your chosen topic and tweet to them, for you!

It's a simple concept but such a powerful service. Twithawk will periodically search twitter for you and you can choose to auto-reply or reply manually (hint you can setup 5 varying auto-replies which is a must for lazy people like me). Basically it's set and forget....adwords, but for twitter!

With an average CPC (Cost Per Click) of less than 2c, google analytics integration and FREE CREDITS you can't go wrong! (I don't get anything when you click that link except for boasting rights, which I love)

Okay I've talked these guys up enough. You can check out some other reviews at twithawk on oneforty. They have an average rating of 5.0 with 117 votes so they can't be doing that bad.

CrunchBase (from the guys over at techcrunch) have a great roundup on twithawk so go checkout twithawk on crunchbase for the lowdown.

One of my absolute favorite people, Guy Kawasaki is a twithawk user and indeed a twithawk evangelist and for good reason too, it just makes sense. Guy qas quoted as saying it "made his jaw drop". The great thing about twithawk is that you get to send personal message straight to users, you're not creating a big flashing banner and hoping enough people will click it, your creating value! Because you can target keywords AND location there's no limit to how creative you can be with twithawk, you can create relationships and leads and automate the whole process at the same time.

The twithawk interface, searches
Twithawk has had it's far share of limelight, recently featured in a detailed blogpost from oneforty. The blog posts mentioned twithawk's founder, Chris Duell (it was only right I dish out his twitter link) and takes a look at some of his accomplishments, like you know.... a quarter of a million tweets!

Still not sure what twithawk is, or why you should use it? Lets ask Guy Kawasaki again, he always knows the right thing to say. Guy thinks "TwitHawk is a very interesting product. It lets you search for text and then draft responses for that search result. You can find the tweets that are most interesting to you and set it up to retweet or even auto send."

I'll leave you with a list of features, to ponder why the heck you're still reading this instead of tweeting from twithawk.

  • Target keyword and location
  • Set search frequency
  • Choose between a mixture of auto-reply or manual reply
  • Handy link shortner tool
  • Track campaigns using google analytics
  • Send out as many tweets as you like (maybe keep an eye on the noise radar spammy mc spamalot)
  • Low CPC (good alternative or companion to adwords)
